How do I get to Kaashidhoo?
We arrange everything! From airport pickup at Velana International to a scenic speedboat transfer directly to our island.

Yes! Our 8 luxury rooms are designed for both couples seeking peace and families looking for adventure.
What is the dress code and local culture like?
Kaashidhoo is a beautiful, traditional Maldivian island. While you can wear your favorite swimwear at our private “Bikini Beach” and within the grounds of Palm Rest, we ask that you dress modestly (covering shoulders and knees) when walking through the village or visiting the local farms. This allows you to experience the true heart of our culture while showing respect to the local community.
What kind of food can I expect at Palm Rest?
We pride ourselves on a “Farm-to-Table” experience. Because Kaashidhoo is the agricultural hub of the Maldives, your meals will feature incredibly fresh papayas, watermelons, and bananas grown just meters away. We serve a mix of traditional Maldivian “Mashuni,” fresh catch-of-the-day seafood, and international favorites, all prepared by our in-house chef.
How does Palms Destinations handle transfers from the Airport?
Your holiday starts the moment you land. A member of the Palms Destinations team will meet you at Velana International Airport (MLE) with a personalized sign. We coordinate all speedboat transfers to Kaashidhoo. If you are combining your stay with a luxury resort, we manage the seamless transition between the local island and the resort island so you never have to worry about logistics.
